Gary M. Zeiss

Gary M. Zeiss provides technology, transactional, and regulatory advice to clients serving a broad spectrum of the health care industry including hospitals, nursing care facilities, provider networks, technology providers, marketing services companies, and pharma-related business across the United States.  In addition, Gary works with companies on a variety of their general business requirements, including procurement, leasing, professional services, and facilities maintenance and supply.

Gary has served as in-house counsel to Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and Inc. 100 companies in health care and related industries, and has substantial experience working with HIPAA and HITECH regulatory schemes, advising both healthcare and general industry clients on their obligations with regard to sensitive health care information.  Gary also has substantial experience in areas such as consulting and services agreements, outsourced service relationships, dispute resolution, and state-and-local government contracting (including RFP preparation and responses).

Gary is a 1997 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was technology editor of the Journal of Law & Policy in International Business.  In 2018, Gary earned his MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governor’s University.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Gary operated a software consulting company in Boston and New York City.

Gary is a proud father of two children.  He is an active member of the Los Angeles fencing community in the U.S. as a competitor, referee, and organizer in local, regional, and national events.
